Patricia Johnson has been with Gallaudet University for over 10 years. Patricia is the Program Support Specialist for the Department of Psychology. She provides technical, administrative, and supervisory support to the faculty and staff of an undergraduate program and two graduate programs. Patricia coordinates various projects and day-to-day operations for the department chair, program directors, and faculty of the various programs within department.

Previously Patricia served as an administrative professional for the former Dean of Student Health & Human Services as well as the academic departments of Counseling, Education, and Communication Studies & Technology Access Program. Most recently, Patricia served as Executive Secretary for the Model Secondary School for the Deaf-Principal’s Office at the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center and as an Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean of the Center for Academic Programs & Student Services (CAPSS).

Patricia Johnson is an active member of the International Association for Administrative Professionals® where she serves as the president of the executive board for the Prince George's Chapter of the DE-MD-DC Division.

In her spare time Patricia enjoys swimming, year-round beach trips, drag racing, professional development activities, and spending fun/quality time with her family.
